Flasher Airstrip

 
Hot rodders used the airstrip at Flasher for drag races on warm days. There is what looks like parallel air strips a short distance due north of Flasher. More research is needed.

Pacer Dragway (Dickinson)

 
Races were run for one season on the runway of Dickinson Municipal Airport, located five miles south of Dickinson. It was called Pacer Dragway because races were sponsored and conducted by the Pacers Auto Club of Dickinson.They held their first NHRA-sanctioned race on July 4, 1971, with a funny car match race as the featured attraction. They offered over $3,000 in prize money for the season's final race held on Sunday, September 26, 1971.
